Huntsville Engagement Photographer Engagement Session with Alexa and Mitchell

Engaged couples are always so much fun to interact with and get to know and Alexa and Mitchell were no exception! Their mutual love of literature brought us to the Huntsville-Madison County Library where they both felt at home being surrounded by some of their favorite books. Alexa, being the romantic that she is, her favorite book was Norah Roberts’ Bed of Roses and Mitchell’s, with his enthusiasm for sports, was Bill James’ Whatever Happened to the Hall of Fame.  Afterwards we went downtown and had a fun project for these two – to think of one word to describe each other with Scrabble tiles.  Their choices made perfect sense! Alexa and Mitchell were made for each other, and their unwavering faith and optimism seems to strengthen their love for each other. We look forward to their wedding day!

And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.

Huntsville Wedding Photography {Kelsi and Jordan}

Part of the reason we love photographing weddings is being able to take part in one of the most important days in a couples lives. It’s obvious that Kelsi and Jordan are very much in love with each other. The way Jordan admired Kelsi while she was making her way down the isle made it impossible to deny. The ceremony was held at First Christian Church in Huntsville. The choice of reception venue was perfect as well,  the Huntsville Botanical Garden‘s Arbor Room provided the atmosphere that was excellently tailored to their personality, playful and entertaining.  The guests were anything but shy in taking part in the festivities; laughing and dancing the night away! It was a pleasure to be able to capture this very special evening for Kelsi and Jordan and we wish them the best in beginning of their life together.

Burritt Museum Wedding {Kathryn & Thomas}

Kathryn & Thomas are an incredible couple! Our initial meeting was for their engagement session and they quickly became more than clients. We loved hearing about “the first date”, I will not go into details, but I will always smile when I think of it, funny how things work out for the best;)When Tom told us about his plans for their rehearsal dinner we knew we had to be there to capture his surprise for Kathryn…a special rendition of Frank Sinatra’s  ”Fly Me to the Moon” with the groomsmen providing backup.  Check back later for photos and video, it will be worth coming back for!

Burritt Museum was the location of the ceremony. The wedding took place outdoors near sunset and it was spectacular, the reception nostalgic and the couple danced the night away surrounded by family and close friends.

We wish you nothing but the best!

Huntsville Wedding Photography {Katie + John}

Wedding season is in full swing and although it’s one of our busiest months I finally made myself sit down long enough to post the beautiful wedding of Katie and John. They opted to see each other for the first time prior to the ceremony which allowed us to capture a more intimate moment between the bride and groom. It warms our heart to see amazing and loving families come together to rejoice in the union of this loving couple. We will always share something special with this couple….we have the same anniversary date!   We wish you nothing but joy and happiness in your new lives together.

Huntsville Wedding Photographer Bridal Session with Lovely Katie

I love photographing brides!  They have such an inner glow that is obvious in their bridal images and it does not matter that the temperature is a sweltering 95 + with 70% humidity! Katie is one of those lovely glowing brides. Thanks to Mom Danna and bottled water, we all survived the heat and got some great images of the beautiful bride. Be sure to check out the back of her gown!
